Welcome to A1.2! In this module, we continue building your German foundation with three very useful grammar topics. You’ll learn how separable and inseparable prefixes change verbs, how to give polite and direct instructions with the imperative, and how the dative case works. Yes, the dative has officially arrived — but don’t worry, we’ll welcome it politely and keep it under control.
In this module, your German gets a time machine. You’ll learn how to talk about things you did in the past using the Perfekt, first with regular verbs and then with irregular verbs. After that, we’ll look at important prepositions that always use the dative. Yes, the dative is back — apparently it missed us — but we’ll handle it calmly, clearly, and with plenty of examples.
In this final learning module of A1.2, we bring together some powerful German tools before the big final test. You’ll learn how two-way prepositions work, how to compare people and things, how to express wishes with “würden,” how ordinal numbers are used, and how reflexive verbs behave. It sounds like a lot — because it is — but don’t worry: we’ll take it step by step, with calm explanations and absolutely no grammar thunderstorm.
You made it to the big A1 final test — nicely done! In this final module, you’ll bring together everything from A1.1 and A1.2. The test includes grammar and vocabulary questions, reading comprehension, and listening comprehension, so you can check how well the full A1 level has settled in. Take your time, stay calm, and remember: this is not here to scare you — it is here to show you how far you’ve come.
